As you are all probably aware by now, the Standard rate of VAT is being returned to 17.5% on Friday 1st January 2010. Whether you are using PRM or PFW, there are 2 possible pricing modes that you may be using, VAT exclusive pricing or VAT Inclusive pricing. Companies using VAT inclusive prices (retailers) you will need to decide whether to keep your inclusive selling prices the same & reduce the net (exclusive) price of your items or to increase your VAT inclusive prices to take into account the VAT increase. We are providing support assisted updates, these will be carried out either on your last trading day in December or your 1st trading day in January. This service is chargeable, however if you are on support there is a reduced rate available. The assisted update is only available on an appointment basis.
